Terms of Service

1. Services

Blacklight Imaging provides professional photography services including but not limited to corporate headshots, personal branding sessions, event coverage, real estate photography, and related services. All services are subject to availability and a signed agreement or booking confirmation.

2. Bookings and Deposits

A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a signed contract and any required deposit. The deposit amount will be specified in your service agreement. Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.

3. Payment

Full payment is due prior to gallery delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment via the methods specified in your invoice. Late payments may result in delayed gallery delivery. Returned checks or failed payments may incur additional fees.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellation and rescheduling policies are outlined in your individual service agreement. In general:

• Cancellations made less than 72 hours before a scheduled session may forfeit the deposit
• Rescheduling requests made with reasonable notice will be accommodated subject to availability
• Blacklight Imaging reserves the right to cancel or reschedule in the event of illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond our control, with a full refund or reschedule offered

5. Delivery of Images

Edited images will be delivered via Google Drive or another agreed-upon method within the timeframe specified in your service agreement. The number of edited images delivered will be at the discretion of Blacklight Imaging unless otherwise agreed in writing. Rush delivery may be available for an additional fee.

6. Copyright and Usage Rights

Blacklight Imaging retains full copyright of all photographs taken. Upon receipt of final payment, clients are granted a non-exclusive license to use the delivered images for personal or commercial purposes as specified in their service agreement.

Blacklight Imaging reserves the right to use images for portfolio, website, social media, and marketing purposes unless the client requests otherwise in writing prior to the session.

7. Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for:

• Providing accurate event details at the time of booking
• Ensuring appropriate access and permissions for the shoot location
• Coordinating participants or subjects as needed
• Notifying Blacklight Imaging of any changes to event details as soon as possible

8. Limitation of Liability

In the event of equipment failure, illness, or circumstances beyond our control that prevent us from fulfilling our obligations, our liability is limited to a refund of amounts paid. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

We strongly recommend that clients do not rely solely on Blacklight Imaging for coverage of events where photographs cannot be retaken (e.g., once-in-a-lifetime events). While we take every precaution, unforeseen circumstances can occur.

9. Website Use

By using blacklight-imaging.com, you agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site
• Reproduce or distribute any content from the site without written permission

10. SMS Communications

By providing your phone number and checking the consent checkbox on our inquiry form, you consent to receive SMS messages from Blacklight Imaging as described in our Privacy Policy. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. Standard message and data rates may apply.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
