The Beginning
Inside the story. Not outside of it.
Blacklight Imaging took shape in Los Angeles in 2020 while I was photographing demonstrations from eye level. I was not interested in treating people as symbols or scenes as spectacle. I wanted to understand what was happening from inside the experience.
That point of view still guides the work. Whether I am photographing a founder, a global brand, a sports activation, a conference, or a community in transition, I look for the relationships, details, and human decisions that reveal what the moment actually felt like.
The result is photography that works in two directions: it preserves the experience, and it gives the client clear visual assets for press, campaigns, partnerships, internal communication, and the next chapter of the story.
The Point of View

For me, that is both a photographic practice and a way of working. Light is visual, but it is also attention: noticing the quiet exchange, the person at the edge of the frame, the detail that makes the event specific, and the opportunity hidden inside a difficult moment.
